A man appeared on three charges of murder in the East London Magistrate's Court on Thursday, Eastern Cape police said.
Simphiwe Kolisi, 34, would be back in court on May 31, Lt-Col Mtati Tana said. He remained in custody.
Kolisi also faced a charge of possession of stolen property. He was arrested earlier in the week during a police raid. - Sapa
