Johannesburg businessman Zunaid Moti handed himself to North West police on Tuesday morning.
“Zunaid Moti… handed (himself) to the police this morning at the Hartbeespoort station,” spokesman Captain Pelonomi Makau said.
Another man also handed himself over. A third man was arrested in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Moti and the second man face charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit murder. The man arrested on Saturday faces charges of grievous assault, armed robbery, and kidnapping, said Makau.
In a statement issued last week, Moti vowed to clear his name.
“The warrant pertains to non business-related matters and Mr Moti and his lawyer, Mr Ian Small-Smith, are currently working with the relevant authorities to clear Mr Moti of all charges.
“Mr Moti is due to appear in court next week to clear his name and a further statement will be issued in due course,” it read.
The 37-year-old businessman is the owner of a luxury vehicle dealership, Future Exotics Lifestyle Emporium.
He is also the chairman of property group Abalengani. - Sapa
