Johannesburg – Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide linked to the Protection and Security Services in Mbombela after that unit's vehicle was involved in a fatal crash.
"It was reported that police officials attached to the Protection and Security Services in Mbombela were involved in an accident at the old Croc Valley road, direction to Karino which resulted in the death of a pedestrian," said Brigadier Leonard Hlathi.
The fatal crash occurred on Thursday. Hlathi said police in Nelspruit have registered a culpable homicide case and were investigating the matter.
