Zeknog, Mpumalanga - A grade nine boy was stabbed to death, allegedly by another pupil at a secondary school in Zoeknog on Wednesday, Mpumalanga police said.

“Today, during break time a grade nine learner was busy buying food from the informal traders at the school when a grade 10

learner attacked him with a knife, and fled the scene,” Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said.

He said the two pupils had been in an argument on Tuesday. The alleged killer handed himself in to police in Acornhoek. He was expected to appear in the Acornhoek Magistrate's Court on Thursday on a murder charge.
