Johannesburg - A Thai national who pled guilty to organising bogus trophy hunts to sell rhino horns on the international black market was sentenced to 40 years in jail on Friday, according to a report.

Chumlong Lemtongthai received the unusually harsh sentence from a local magistrate court, EyeWitness News reported, amid a record number of rhino deaths this year. - Sapa-AFP
