Cape Town – A police source has confirmed that Calvin November 58, the father of six-year-old missing Shasha-Lee November has been arrested.
November was arrested on Thursday afternoon, a day after a vigil was held for his daughter.
He was arrested for illegal possession of ammunition and drugs. November made a brief appearance in the Athlone Magistrate's Court on Friday morning.
Shasha-Lee went missing in 2015. This year marks two years since her disappearance.
She was last seen playing outside her home in Groenall Walk in Hanover Park. The police to date have no new developments in the case of her disappearance.
