Johannesburg - A Hawks police captain accused of conspiracy, extortion and corruption was expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Captain Patrick Yizaya Siyali, 51, was expected to bring a new lawyer.
During his previous appearance, he told the court he would appoint a new legal representative from LegalWise and not from legal aid.
He is out on R10 000 bail. - Sapa
