A Soweto teenager will appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Tuesday for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl at her school, Gauteng police said.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said the 17-year-old boy allegedly raped the girl in the bathroom of Busisiwe Primary School in Zola, Soweto, on Friday.
“When she went home the girl's mother saw that her panties were full of blood. On Monday the mother went to clinic to confirm that the girl was raped. She then laid a charge against the boy, and we went to arrest him.”
The teenager would face the rape charge as a minor. – Sapa
