Alexandria - A man accused of raping his teenage step-daughter appeared in the Alexandria Magistrate's Court, near Port Alfred, on Monday, Eastern Cape police said.
Lieutenant Luvuyo Mjekula said the 41-year-old businessman would remain in custody and would appear again on February 26.
He allegedly started raping his 13-year-old step-daughter last year.
The man was arrested last Thursday, when the girl complained to her teacher. - Sapa
