Teen stabbed in Mitchells Plain

Cape Town - A 15-year-old boy was stabbed by unknown assailants in Portlands, in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, on Friday morning, Western Cape police said.

The teenager had a stab wound in his abdomen and was taken to a nearby hospital, said Captain Frederick van Wyk.

The incident happened at around 7.40am on Merrydale Avenue.

“An attempted murder case was opened to establish the motive for the attack,” he said.
