Eastern Cape - Two men have been arrested in Ezibeleni near Queenstown in connection with rape, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.

Lt Pumzile Makaula said the two were arrested on Sunday, for allegedly raping a woman at her home on Friday.

“It is alleged that the two suspects raped her and stole some of her belongings.”

She said a police officer from Tylden police station came to pick up the woman for duty as she worked as a clerk at the police station.

“He found the door open and the victim lying on the floor,” Makaula said. - Sapa
