Cape Town – In video footage of a prayer vigil held for Courtney Pieters three days after she went missing, her alleged killer can be seen standing in the doorway.
The footage, shot by Bronwyn Davids, shows the alleged killer, Mortimer Saunders, who was charged with Courtney's murder, standing in support of the family.
It's believed he often joined the search for Courtney, and supported her parents.
Saunders rented a room from the family and would often invite Courtney to watch cartoons in his room.
