Pretoria - Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions Nomgcobo Jiba appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Pretoria on Tuesday.

Jiba faces two counts of fraud and one of perjury relating to the failed prosecution for racketeering of KZN Hawks boss Major General Johan Booysen.

In March police served summons on National Director of Public Prosecutions Mxolisi Nxasana at the National Prosecuting Authority headquarters in Silverton when they could not locate Jiba.

Nxasana said when he handed the summons to Jiba, she refused to accept the documents. Nxasana, however, conveyed the April 21 court date to Jiba.

On Tuesday, the matter was postponed to June, enabling the State to reveal further particulars of the case to Jiba.
