Cape Town - Police and the families of two missing girls need the assistance of communities to help locate the best friends from Kuils River who have been missing for almost a week.

Nayoca Plato, 17, and Robin van Leeve, 19, disappeared on Wednesday, March 1.

The girls, who are both in Grade 12 at De Kuilen High School, have not been seen since.

Nayoca’s mother, Karin Plato, who has been searching for her daughter tirelessly along with detectives, says she just wants her baby to come back home.

She pleaded: “Nayoca, mommy and daddy love you so much and we miss you so much. Your nephews miss you so much. Please come home.

“If anyone has seen her, please alert us. We just want our baby back."
