Rustenburg - Twelve laptops were stolen from Lotlamoreng Primary School in Magogoe village near Mmabatho, North West police said on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Major Pelonomi Makau said the laptops were stolen on Tuesday evening.

“It is alleged that a group of unknown suspects broke one of the school office burglar doors and stole the laptops, amounting to several thousands of rands, which were (kept) in a cabinet,” she said.

She appealed to community members not to buy the stolen laptops but rather to report them to the nearest police stations or contact Mmabatho police station on 018 3877 500 or Warrant Officer Gaborone on 079 897 1839.
