Cape Town - The mother of this missing woman fears she may have been kidnapped after she disappeared from a Khayelitsha shebeen over two months ago.

Anelisa Dulaze went missing on January 31, while out celebrating her 21st birthday with friends in Town Two.

Mom Vathiswa Dulaze says she tried calling Anelisa on her cellphone when she didn’t return home that night.

Vathiswa says: “Finally her friend answered the phone on Monday and said Anelisa had left the phone at her place. I relaxed a little thinking at least she was with friends and went to work, but when I came back she still wasn’t back.”

The mom says she spoke to the friends, eventually ending up with a young man.

“That guy claims to have left her with someone else, we spoke to three other people who all confirmed seeing her there but nobody saw her leave.

“But she is not that kind of a girl; she doesn’t do parties or go out at night and run around with boys.

“Something must have happened to her, she might have been drugged and taken without her will.”

“I have faith that she is still alive, I don’t have that feeling that she is dead

“If she is being kept without her consent, I want to plead and beg whoever has her to please bring her back,” she adds.

Police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana says Anelisa was last seen wearing khaki linen shorts, a white cotton vest and brown leather sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Warrant Officer Van der Westhuizen on 021- 360 2283 or 082 467 1700.
