Johannesburg - The State is in possession of a confession for the murder of a man whose body was found in the boot of a car at Montecasino, the Randburg Magistrate's Court heard on Wednesday.
"We have no objection to releasing the confession made by Maruschka Robinson," prosecutor Yusuf Baba said.
Robinson, a former stripper, appeared with her boyfriend Jean-Pierre Malan for the murder of Dustan Blom.
Blom's decomposing body was found in the boot of his own car in the parking garage at the entertainment venue in September.
He was found after security guards noticed a bad smell coming from the car.
Robinson was arrested on September 24, and Malan on September 26.
The State would also give the defence lawyers information on the pointing out of the crime scene which was done by Robinson, photos of where the murder happened, and a toxicology and post mortem report.
Baba said the State would lead evidence stating that when Blom was charged with drinking and driving in May last year, Robinson assisted with his release.
"Robinson had access to cards, passports, identity document before he [Blom] passed away," he said.
The State would show premeditated murder, Baba said.
Other evidence the defence would receive included CCTV footage taken at Montecasino, fingerprints found on the deceased car, Malan's fake driver's licence, and his four different identity documents.
The matter was postponed to April 1.
In another case, four men accused of defrauding Blom appeared in the same court.
Brothers Louis and Heinrich Coetzee, and Ian Manyika and Alex de Kooker each face two counts of fraud.
They are accused of taking over R100 000 from Blom's bank account.
The case was postponed to April 3 because De Kooker was not in court. - Sapa
