Durban - A naked man was killed when he was struck by a car on the N2 highway in Durban on Thursday.
Spokesman for Crisis Medical paramedics Kyle van Reenen said that the man sustained fatal head wounds and was declared dead on the scene.
Van Reenen said it was not clear why the man was naked or had come to be on the southbound lane of the busy highway in rush-hour traffic near Asherville.
Police were on scene and have launched an investigation.
