Johannesburg - Two more houses of non-striking Transnet workers were damaged on Saturday in Motherwell, in the Eastern Cape, the company said.
The houses were stoned in the early hours of Saturday morning, spokesman Mboniso Sigonyela said.
On Thursday, two houses were stoned in the same area. The houses were those of Transnet employees at the Ngqura Container terminal.
Sigonyela said two cars were petrol-bombed on Friday morning.
“The latest incidents take the number of such attacks to 30 since the union (Numsa) vowed to intensify its action against the company three days ago.”
