Johannesburg - Three hijacked cars were recovered in Rabie Ridge, Johannesburg, on Monday afternoon, metro police said.
Officers looking for a grey Kia that had been hijacked in Bedfordview found them in the parking lot of a Rabie Ridge shopping mall, Chief Superintendant Wayne Minnaar said.
During the hijacking of the Kia, armed men forced the owner out and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
The Kia, as well as a hijacked BMW and a Corsa, were found abandoned. The BMW and Corsa had false number plates, and had been reported hijacked.
