Johannesburg - People across all racial lines continue to join the ANC, proving it is not losing support, the party in KwaZulu-Natal said on Wednesday.
“As the support for the ANC in Indian, coloured and white communities grows significantly, the ANC yesterday (Tuesday) showed its political muscle when it welcomed 20 new members from the white community into its fold,” provincial secretary Sihle Zikalala said in a statement.
“(The ANC) is an inclusive organisation which is home to everyone.”
The number of people joining the African National Congress from different races was a true reflection of a society envisaged by former president Nelson Mandela and other leaders, he said.
