Rustenburg - Four political parties are contesting a municipal ward by-election in Mpumalanga on Wednesday, the Electoral Commission of SA (IEC) said.

Ward 26 in Dr. JS Moroka Municipality would be contested by Anthon Tshepo Moimana of the African National Congress (ANC), Francinah Mashadi Sebaka of the Democratic Alliance, Mankone Jane Seema of the Economic Freedom Fighters and Ephraim Mmatlou Railo of the Forum 4 Service Delivery.

The ward was previously represented by the ANC and became vacant as a result of the resignation of the councillor.
