Pretoria - The Seriti Commission of Inquiry into the 1999 arms deal was postponed on Tuesday.

“The public hearings of the Arms Procurement Commission are adjourned until Friday... to allow further consultations between the evidence leaders and witnesses of the department of trade and industry,” spokesman William Baloyi said in a statement.

The commission is investigating allegations of corruption in the controversial multi-billion rand arms deal.
