Johannesburg - National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) deputy prosecutions boss advocate Nomgcobo Jiba appeared briefly in a Pretoria court on Wednesday.
The case was set down for August 19 , August 20 and September 21 for trial in the Pretoria Regional Court.
On April 21, Jiba made her first appearance in the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Pretoria.
Jiba faces two counts of fraud and one of perjury relating to the failed prosecution for racketeering of KwaZulu-Natal Hawks boss Major General Johan Booysen.
In March, police served summons on National Director of Public Prosecutions Mxolisi Nxasana at the NPA headquarters in Silverton, Pretoria when they could not locate Jiba.
Nxasana said when he handed the summons to Jiba she refused to accept the documents. Nxasana, however, conveyed the April 21 court date to Jiba.
At the time the matter was postponed to June, to enable the State to reveal further particulars of the case to Jiba.
On Wednesday, Jiba and her lawyers received the formal charge sheet before the postponement.
