Cape Town - The DA’s motion calling for an early emergency national election is being debated in Parliament.
An early democratic election, in terms of section 50 of the constitution, would provide South Africans with a new opportunity to rid the country of the "toxic leadership" of the President Jacob Zuma-led ANC government, the party's national spokeswoman Phumzile van Damme said on Sunday.
