Johannesburg - The Democratic Alliance (DA) says its political head for uMgungundlovu East, Dean Macpherson, will appear on Monday before the Moerane Commission of Enquiry, which is investigating the political killings in KZN.
In a terse statement, the MP said he will give evidence about the culture of murder and assassinations in Richmond Municipality.
Richmond has in the last year alone, experienced at least five politically motivated killings. Macpherson said no arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
The hearing will take place at the Public Works Offices, Jan Smuts Highway, Mayville, Durban.
