Princess Anne will meet Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe on Tuesday on her visit to South Africa in celebration of the jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the presidency said.
Presidency spokesman Mac Maharaj on Monday said President Jacob Zuma would be in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday and Tuesday and would be unable to meet Princess Anne.
“The Presidency extends a warm welcome to Her Royal Highness Princess Anne,” Maharaj said in a statement.
“The President wishes the Princess Royal well during the visit, which will further strengthen relations between South Africa and the United Kingdom.”
Princess Anne is expected to arrive in the country on Monday. - Sapa
