Cape Town - Grant Twigg has been elected Democratic Alliance Cape Town metro regional chairman, the DA said on Saturday.
He was elected at the DA's metro regional AGM on Saturday, the DA said in a statement.
Altogether 307 voting delegates participated in the elective AGM ahead of the provincial congress to be held on October 7. Twigg was elected regional chairman while JP Smith, Anda Ntsodo, and Phindile Maxiti were elected regional deputy chairs.
Ian Iversen was elected metro regional chairman of finance and Desiree Visagie was elected metro regional secretary. The metro regional additional members elected were Malusi Booi, Matthew Kempthorne, Rob Quintas, and Elizabeth Cloete.
Lidia Rauch, Dion George, and Tony van Minnen were elected metro regional federal council representatives.
