Cape Town - ANC national executive committee member Tony Yengeni was arrested for drunken driving over the weekend, a report says.

According to Die Burger, Yengeni reportedly spent the night in police cells after being arrested at 6pm on Sunday in Cape Town.

He was reportedly driving a Maserati.

He was seen leaving the police station on Monday morning after being released on bail of R500.

Yengeni was also arrested for drunken driving in Goodwood, Cape Town, in November 2007. - IOL
