Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma has wished Christians in South Africa a warm Easter holiday and a happy Pesach (Passover) to the Jewish community.

“This is the time when Christians celebrate the triumph of the Holy Spirit over the earthly world, and we therefore wish all the members of this community the goodwill and warmth of this season,” Zuma said on Thursday.

He also urged worshippers who would be using the roads over the weekend to be safe.

“We further appeal to all those who will be using our roads to drive carefully at all times, obey the rules of the road and save lives,” he said. - Sapa
