New Delhi – During his visit to India to attend the India-Africa Forum Summit, President Jacob Zuma held bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Damodardas Modi, the Presidency said on Wednesday.

Before attending the third India-Africa Forum Summit, Zuma discussed several issues with Modi.

These issues, the Presidency said, included “progress in implementing the decisions of the 9th Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC); the importance of economic cooperation and growing trade and investment; Global Governance reform, specifically the United Nations Security Council reform; and the hosting by India of the India, Brazil, South Africa (IBSA) Forum Summit”.

Zuma has also invited Modi to pay a visit to South Africa in 2016.

Zuma would be attending the Summit from October 29 – 30. Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Nkoane-Mashabane accompanied him on the visit to India.
