Zuma wishes Muslims a peaceful Ramadaan

President Jacob Zuma on Saturday wished the Muslim community a peaceful Ramadaan month.

“We wish our Muslim compatriots well, and commend them for their positive contribution to the development of South Africa and in promoting nation building,” Zuma said in a statement.

“May this special time of reflection worldwide in the Muslim community contribute to peace, inclusion and harmony to the world,” he said.

Ramadaan is a time for fasting for the Islamic community. - Sapa
