How many more must be subjected to the most unimaginably cruel and wicked depravity?
When will this country act?
Today we report on the rape of yet another five year old, hot on the heels of our revelation this week of the five year old who has been raped three times.
The two girls are from the same village and were raped on the same day.
A third child escaped.
The time has come for action. The guilty must be arrested, prosecuted and punished.
The adults who failed these children must face the severest sanction too, whether they be elders or social workers.
It takes a village to raise a child. We have to face up to the reality that our village is rotten to the core.
