Durban - Kwaito star Mkhonzeni “Professor” Langa would be formally charged after he was seen wearing what appeared to be a Durban metro police uniform at the MetroFM Music awards in the city at the weekend.
However the star appears to have gone to ground with both journalists and police battling to find him to ask him to explain his action.
Metro police spokesman Eugene Msomi said the star would be charged with the unauthorised possession and use of a metro police uniform, adding that police had no record of him having permission to wear it.
“Other charges will be determined once we interview him,” he added.
As of Monday afternoon, police were struggling to find him.
