12 Sexy Boys gangsters face 46 charges

Twelve members of the Sexy Boys - a Cape Town gang - have appeared in the Wynberg regional court on 46 charges relating to murder and attempted murder.

The case was postponed to May 11. The bail of R20 000 for Sexy Boys gang leader Jerome Booysen and co-accused Leon Small was extended.

- Four men appeared briefly in the Wynberg regional court on charges relating to the theft of R1,6-million from a Coin Security van in December. The four were remanded in custody and the case postponed to April 26.

- Pagad leader Abdus-Salaam Ebrahim's case has been postponed until May 31 for further investigation.

Ebrahim, who was arrested on December 24 for the murder of Hard Livings gang leader, Rashaad Staggie in 1996, appeared briefly in the Cape Town magistrate's court on Tuesday.
