Port Elizabeth - An African National Congress (ANC) branch leader from Zwide in Port Elizabeth has been gunned down.
ANC regional spokesperson, Gift Ngqondi, confirmed on Thursday morning that Thando Xakaxa was gunned down on Wednesday night. According to Ngqondi, Xakaka was killed.
"A branch leader from Ward 25 in Zwide was gunned down last night around 20H30 whilst arriving at his home," said Ngqondi.
Police could not immediately confirm the incident.
