Bloemfontein - The popular hang-out Cubana in Westdene, Bloemfontein was mysteriously destroyed by a fire on Saturday morning.

Radio station ofm.co.za reported that an explosion inside the eatery may have triggered the blaze that burned down the restaurant.

There were no fatalities and neighbouring buildings were not affected.

When the Mangaung Metro’s fire department arrived at the scene, there was already nothing left of the building, according to the Bloemfontein Courant.
