Johannesburg - Crowds began to gather again outside former president Nelson Mandela's house in Houghton, Johannesburg on Saturday morning.

“Mandela, we praise you,” they sang in Sesotho. People of all ages and races also started dancing. They said Mandela's life deserved to be celebrated.

“I am very sad that Madiba has passed away, but we should celebrate his life. He has done a lot for us,” said Khaya Dlamini.

Mandela died at his home in Johannesburg on Thursday, and will be buried next Sunday in Qunu, in the Eastern Cape, where he grew up. - Sapa
