Johannesburg - The case against two Lebanese brothers, accused of illegally exporting components for drones to militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon was postponed for formal bail application by the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Monday.

The exact reasons for the postponement are unknown as the courtroom was cleared by the police and only family members were allowed inside for proceedings.

Lebanese nationals Usama Darwich Hamade and his brother Issam Hamade allegedly illegally exported components for drones to Hezbollah in Lebanon and are wanted in the United States. The pair face possible extradition.

The matter was postponed to 1 March for formal bail application.
