Johannesburg - An 11-year-old girl was killed when she was knocked down by a minibus on the N14 near Muldersdrift, northwest of Johannesburg, on Monday, paramedics said.
The girl was found lying on the roadway around 7.30am. She was declared dead on the scene, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
According to the driver, the girl was running across the highway at the time of the accident, Botha said.
