Johannesburg – Judge Colin Lamont sentenced Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir and his co-accused Desai Luphondo to 35 years imprisonment on Tuesday at the South Gauteng High Court.

The Czech fugitive and his co-accused were found guilty of kidnapping, attempted murder and attempted possession of drugs in October last year.

Krejcir’s other co-accused former Hawks employees; Warrant Officer Samuel Maropeng, Jan Mofokeng, George Nthoroane as well as Siboniso Miya were each sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.

All the accused will be appeal their convictions as well as their sentences on Wednesday
