The disciplinary hearing of suspended SABC Group chief executive officer Solly Mokoetle has been suspended indefinitely, the broadcaster reported on Tuesday.

The suspension was for a date on which it can continue to be determined.

Mokoetle's disciplinary hearing, chaired by senior advocate Karel Tipp, was originally set down for eight days.

Monday was the last scheduled day but according to the parties involved the matter has not yet been finalised, it was reported.

Mokoetle was suspended in September after the SABC board accused him of not fulfilling his duty of coming up with a turn-around strategy for the corporation. -
