Johannesburg - Two men died and 35 people were injured in an accident in Germiston on Friday night, paramedics said.
Two taxis and a car collided at the intersection of Black Reef Road and Grey Ave, Dinwiddie, around 8pm, said Netcare 911
spokesman Chris Botha.
When paramedics arrived on the scene some people were still trapped in the twisted metal.
Six people were critically injured and 27 others sustained serious to minor injuries.
A woman who was critically injured had to be airlifted to hospital for treatment. Other patients were transported by ambulance.
Police would investigate the cause of the accident, Botha said.
