Johannesburg - Two people were killed when a minibus taxi overturned on Western Road in Wendywood, north of Johannesburg, on Wednesday, paramedics said.
A number of people were injured, but it was difficult to determine how many, Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.
One of the injured was airlifted to hospital, while the others were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The cause of the accident was not known.
