A micro-light aircraft crashed just outside Richards Bay, Netcare 911 paramedics said on Saturday.
“It sounds like the pilot got into difficulty with his wings which caused a crash,” said Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann.
She said people saw the plane going down and reported it.
