Johannesburg - Three people died when two cars collided head-on near Richmond in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday, paramedics said.
The accident occurred on the R56 about 10km from Richmond.
“Upon their arrival on the scene, they found that two vehicles collided head-on resulting in three people tragically losing their lives,” spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said in a statement.
“One person was found to be in a critical condition and two people sustained moderate injuries.”
All the injured were treated on scene before being transported to hospitals in Pietermaritzburg. - Sapa
