Durban - Three people were killed and a 12-year-old girl was critically injured in an accident on the R103 between Ladysmith and Colenso on Tuesday morning, KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services said.
Paramedics arrived to find that the car had left the road and crashed into a small ravine, spokesman Robert Mckenzie said in a statement.
“Tragically it was found that three people had died in the collision and that a child, who is about 12 years old, had been critically injured.”
The child was taken to a hospital in Ladysmith.
The cause of the accident was being investigated. - Sapa
