Johannesburg – A 17-year-old charged with the murder of his 15-year-old girlfriend is expected to appear in Limpopo's Motetema Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Dimakatso Tlaka's body, which had multiple injuries, was discovered by a passersby at Tafelkop mountain in Motetema.
Although the motive of the murder was not yet known, police were investigating allegations that the accused was forcing Tlaka to terminate her pregnancy, said spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.
"Police work led to the arrest of the deceased's boyfriend after preliminary investigations connected the suspect to the incident."
The two were learners at Buleu High School in the area.
