A police constable has shot dead his girlfriend then killed himself in Onverwacht, Limpopo police said on Tuesday.
Their bodies were found in a rented room on Monday night, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.
“We believe that he shot himself after shooting his lover, because we found his service firearm next to his body,” said Mulaudzi.
The motive for the killing was not known.
The 30-year-old constable worked at the Lephalale police station. - Sapa
