Johannesburg - Fourteen people were injured and one person died on Tuesday, when a taxi overturned on the R81 between Polokwane and Mankweng, Limpopo police said.
Spokesperson Lt-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe siad that the police were investigating a case of culpable homicide.
"It is alleged that a taxi was transporting 15 passengers when its right rear wheel burst, it lost control until it overturned killing one woman passenger instantly and 14 others sustained serious injuries and they were taken to the hospital for medical treatment," Ngoepe said.
Ngoepe said that investigations were continuing.
